I only picked up a few things from CVS today, but I got toothpaste, deodorant, diswashing soap, Xtra detergent, and 24 pack of bottled water for $5.56!!!  I checked out three times and used my extra bucks and coupons.

First checkout:

Colgate toothpaste $3.79 - $1.00 coupon = $2.79

Then I got extra bucks $3.79. So they paid me $1 to take the toothpaste!

Second checkout:

Xtra detergent $1.88

Gain diswashing soap $.88 - $.25 coupon = $.63

Deodorant $2.99

I used my $3.79 extra bucks from the toothpaste and the coupon for the soap

and spent $1.78.  I also got $2.00 extra bucks for the deodorant!

Third checkout

24 pack of bottled water on sale for $2.99

I used my $2.00 extra bucks, so I only paid $.99 for the water.

So overall I spent $5.56 for all the items.  I get the coupons out of the sunday paper and CVS usually puts things on sale at the same time there are coupons.
